Training Conference for Customers of AURAEKO

On 20 November 2024, a Training Conference for the customers of AURAEKO Group took place in the
industrial interiors of Warsaw’s Norblin Factory. The event entitled “The only constant thing in
business is change. EPR, PPWR, Deposit, ESG…” introduced the subject of legal changes that will soon
affect the Producers of batteries and packaging and, indirectly, the Producers of electrical and
electronic equipment for the Polish market.

Legal changes for the Producers

Our speakers discussed the present legal environment and important aspects for the Producers,
commercial entities, e-commerce in the context of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), PPWR
Directive and deposit system, SUP Directive and the Regulation of the European Parliament and of
the Council on batteries and waste batteries. In addition, we presented control and administrative
proceedings that can be carried out at the Producers and in commercial entities in the area of
product launch, distribution and e-commerce. Conference participants also had the opportunity to
learn about the new ESG reporting obligations resulting from the EU CSRD Directive and their impact
on entrepreneurs, including the SME sector. Promoting the idea of sustainability based on the
continuous maintenance of the balance between the three pillars: social, environmental and
economic, i.e. the management of the company so as to limit its negative impact on the natural
environment, is an element of the identity of a modern, dynamically developing company.

Benefits were not only educational

The conference was an excellent occasion to learn about new legislative challenges, as well as to
make new contacts and exchange experiences. Customers had the opportunity to talk with the
speakers and meet in person AURAEKO employees who support them in fulfilling their legal
requirements day to day, which facilitates cooperation and removes communication barriers. That
was one inspiring experience. We would like to thank the speakers and customers who accepted our
invitation in such large numbers.
