16th EDITION of the Poland-wide Ecological Competition GOOD SOLUTIONS FOR ELECTROWASTE – LEAVE ME IN GOOD HANDS 2025

The recruitment process for the 16th edition of the Poland-wide Ecological Competition GOOD SOLUTIONS FOR ELECTROWASTE 2025 ended on Friday, 7 February. This project promotes practical knowledge about the correct handling of waste equipment and batteries. The participating School Teams engage not only the school community in their pro-environmental activities, but also local residents and authorities. The schools that have qualified for the competition will soon begin the eco-challenge and compete for attractive prizes.

The main prize for the winning school is a voucher for the purchase of teaching aids worth net PLN 10,000. Schools that come second to fifth receive prizes in the form of TVs and vouchers for teaching aids:

Prize for 2nd place – a TV set worth approx. PLN 2,000 + a voucher worth net PLN 2,000

Prize for 3rd place – a TV set worth approx. PLN 2,000 + a voucher worth net PLN 1,500

Prize for 4th place – a TV set worth approx. PLN 2,000 + a voucher worth net PLN 1,000

Prize for 5th place – a TV set worth approx. PLN 2,000 + a voucher worth net PLN 500

In addition, members and supervisors of the School Teams that take places 1 to 8 will receive attractive non-cash prizes. 

The Team that comes in 9th place will receive a special prize in the form of a trip to the Maya Victory WEEE Processing Plant in Bogumiłów. 

The school that achieves the highest level of WEEE and used battery collection will receive a special prize in the form of a voucher for the purchase of teaching aids worth net PLN 3,000. Everyone present on 13 June 2025 at the Final Gala of the Competition at the Copernicus Science Centre will receive commemorative diplomas and gift sets from AURAEKO. It should be mentioned that all School Teams participating in the Competition are invited to the Final Gala.
