Good Solutions for Electrowaste – Leave Me in Good Hands 2023

The 14^th Final of the Competition Good Solutions for Electrowaste – Leave Me in Good Hands 2023 took place on Friday, 2 June at the Warsaw Copernicus Science Centre.
The Good Solutions for Electrowaste campaign address a series of cyclical educational activities for primary school youth aimed at promoting the selective collection of waste comprising electrical and electronic equipment and spent batteries. The 14^th edition of the project attracted a total of 2,117 participants to take part in the competition, who had collected nearly 760 tonnes of waste equipment and over 46 tonnes of spent portable batteries and accumulators. assessed the competition tasks in accordance with the Competition Regulations and announced the following results:

1^st place: Józef Wybicki Primary School No 5 in Mińsk Mazowiecki.

2^nd place: Janusz Korczak Primary School No 4 with Integration Classes in Sochaczew

3^rd place: Franciszek Stuska Primary School No 4 in Orzesze-Jaśkowice

4^th place: Fr. Dr. Bernard Sychta Primary School No 6 in Kościerzyna

5^th place: Orła Białego Primary School No 4 in Czechowice-Dziedzice

6^th place: Józef Piłsudski Primary School No 1 in Gałków Duzy

7^th Place: Józef Wybicki Primary School No 1 in Rumia

8^th place: Władysław Broniewski Primary School No 8 in Pruszków

9^th place: Mira Zimińska-Sygietyńska Primary School No 3 in Pruszków

10^th place: Primary School No 16 in the School and Kindergarten Complex No 1 in Białystok

11^th place: Primary School No 16 in the School and Kindergarten Complex No 1 in Białystok

12^th place: School Complex with Integration Classes in Pustków-Osiedle

13^th place: Ignacy Jan Paderewski Primary School No 5 in Pruszków

14^th place: Henryk Sienkiewicz Primary School No 6 in Pruszków

15^th place: Primary School No 38 in the School and Kindergarten Complex No 4 in Białystok

Prizes

Members of the winning teams (places 1-8) have received individual prizes in-kind (e-book readers, smartwatches, wireless headphones) as well as sweets and small gifts from AURAEKO.

Furthermore, the Competition Jury awarded the following Grand Prizes to schools for:

The ecoteam from the school that placed 9^th, that is Mira Zimińska-Sygietyńska Primary School No 3 in Pruszków, has received an additional prize prepared by  LG Electronics Mława (the patron of the competition), namely the opportunity to visit the LG Electronics plant in Mława.

All Ecoteams have received commemorative diplomas and small gifts from AURAEKO.
