Good Solutions for Electrowaste – Leave Me in Good Hands 2026
The 17th Final of the Competition Good Solutions for Electrowaste – Leave Me in Good Hands 2026 took place on Friday, 12 June at the Warsaw Copernicus Science Centre.
The Good Solutions for Electrowaste campaign address a series of cyclical educational activities for school youth aimed at promoting the selective collection of waste comprising electrical and electronic equipment and spent batteries. 17 editions of the project attracted a total of 2,492 participants to take part in the competition, who had collected 960 tonnes of waste equipment and 63 tonnes of spent portable batteries and accumulators. 1st place: Józef Wybicki Primary School No 5 in Mińsk Mazowiecki
2nd place: Primary School in Granowo
3rd place: Mikołaj Rej 4th High School in Zabrze
4th place: 3th High School in Ostrów Wielkopolski
5th place: Józef Tischner Primary School No 23 in Jastrzębie-Zdrój
6th place: Janusz Korczak Primary School No 4 with Integration Classes in Sochaczew
7th Place: United Europe School Complex in Oława
8th place: Orzeł Biały Primary School No 4 in Czechowice-Dziedzice
9th place: Maria Dąbrowska 11th High School in Kraków
Prizes
Members of the winning teams (places 1-8) have received individual prizes in-kind (e-book readers, smartwatches, wireless headphones) as well as sweets and small gifts from AURAEKO.
The school that placed 1st received the main prize in the form of a Voucher for the purchase of teaching aids worth gross PLN 13,000.
The school that placed 2nd received a Voucher for the purchase of teaching aids worth gross PLN 6,000.
The school that placed 3rd received a Voucher for the purchase of teaching aids worth gross PLN 5,500.
The school that placed 4th received a Voucher for the purchase of teaching aids worth gross PLN 4,500.
The school that placed 5th received a Voucher for the purchase of teaching aids worth gross PLN 3,500.
The bonus for the highest collection of electro-waste and used batteries in the form of a Voucher worth gross PLN 4,000 PLN for the purchase of educational aids was awarded to Józef Wybicki Primary School No 5 in Mińsk Mazowiecki.
For the Ecoteam from the Maria Dąbrowska 11th High School in Kraków, which placed 9th, the company MB Recycling (the patron of the competition) prepared an additional prize: the opportunity to visit the MB Recycling electro-waste processing facility in Piekoszów.
All Eco-Teams have received commemorative diplomas and small gifts from AURAEKO.
